The Musculoskeletal Interface Service is a countywide service for people with hip, knee and shoulder conditions where the diagnosis is unclear or who are not ready, willing or able to have surgery.

Referrals

Referrals into the service are via the GP surgery and submitted through the e-referral system.

Spinal interface patient exercises

Exercise and lifestyle changes can be a useful way to manage low back and sciatic leg pains.  The information below provide a good starting point however remember to start gently and ease in. 

Consistency over time is usually more effective than doing too much in one go and potentially flaring symptoms. If you find a particular exercise uncomfortable then fast forward onto the next.
