Liskeard Community Hospital provides inpatient care and a range of clinics to people in the local town and the surrounding area.
We recommend patients bring a few personal items with them to make their stay in hospital more comfortable.
To allow building work to be undertaken at Bodmin Community Hospital, we have relocated our stroke services to Liskeard Community Hospital. Woodfield Stroke Unit has temporarily been provided from Willow Ward.

The X-ray Department operates an appointment system for patients who have been referred by their GP. To arrange an appointment, call the GP Booking Team at Derriford Hospital on 01752 437 188, 24-hours after your doctor’s appointment.
X-ray facilities are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. X-rays are not available on bank holidays.
Minor injury units, or MIUs, treat a range of injuries that have happened in the last 14 days. Nurses, paramedics and healthcare assistants run our minor injury units.
We have 10 minor injury units spread across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. You do not need an appointment and can walk in

Minor injury units can treat:
When your GP is closed, they can treat suspected infections. These include sore ears and throats.
Most minor injury units have access to x-ray.

The ward has 25 inpatient beds providing inpatient care for elderly patients and patients who require rehabilitation following surgery or illness.
There is a dedicated space for patients nearing the end of their life which is a quiet area for them to be with their families.
The ward has protected mealtimes between midday and 1pm and from 5pm to 6pm. However if you would like to help your relative to eat and drink you are welcome to stay on the ward.
